Watercolor Arrows DIY Weekly Planner Tablet

Well, we are back from an amazing weekend in the mountains of California’s Gold Country.  We had a very relaxing and refreshing weekend amidst the pine trees and the stillness, enjoying quiet time to think, communicate as a family, and reconnect with God.  Here is the beautiful meadow that can be seen from the campground.IMG_3264

But now it’s Monday, and my to-do list is a mile long.  And it dawned on me – I really need to get organized!!  So, I’ve created a simple tablet, similar to a notepad you might have had by your phone a decade (or two) ago, with peel-away pages, one per week.  I’m calling it my week at-a-glance tablet.

Do you need some organization in your life? Well this simple weekly planner from TheDomesticHeart can help! This post includes Instructions and free printable pages so you can make one of your own! The idea behind this tablet was just to have a designated place to jot things down that I need to do, etc., as they come to mind.  I always have notes in 4 or 5 different places.  This tablet will keep everything in one place, and at the end of the week I can simply tear off this week’s page and start fresh.  I will always know where my notes are (hopefully).Do you need some organization in your life? I’d love it if some of you out there found this tablet helpful as well!  I’ve included 10 different colors of watercolor arrow backgrounds.  You can customize it with any or all of the colors.  I printed 6 of each color, which should last a whole year.   When you print, just make sure you select “print two pages per sheet,” as these are sized to be 1/2 of an 8 1/2 x 11″ sheet of computer paper.

Once printed, cut them to size, sort into the color order you want and clip together with some chip clips or something similar.  Then run a small bead of Elmer’s glue along the top of the stack.  Smooth the glue along the edge and into the crevices.  Sandwich the stack between two pieces of wax paper, remove the clips, and place some heavy books on top.  Allow to dry overnight.

Below are each of the pages.  Just right click and save the ones you want.  I’ve also included the transparent overlay if you have your own backgrounds you’d like to use, or if you want to print it on patterned paper.
