A Trip and a Party

I’m in Texas y’all!

I’m back in my hometown for a few weeks for a visit with my parents and siblings, and hopefully a few friends as well.  My baby boy (7 months) and I survived sharing a seat on the plane for almost 4 hours, and now we are settling in to have a nice visit; I’m sure there will be some Scrabble involved – and lots of coffee (decaf for me)!

But the real focus and mission of my visit??

The Party.

You see, I have a twin brother and sister that are turning 4 in a few days.  Yes, I said 4.  I am 26 years older than them – but its fun!  And every year, my mom has thrown a smashing birthday party for them!

And you know we always do lots of DIY decorating and crafting!

So I’m here to help her get an awesome DIY birthday party together.  I plan on featuring some of our projects over the next 10 days – and of course I will be sharing photos from the actual party.

I’m not going to reveal the theme yet – you’ll just have to follow along to find out!  But over the next couple days I’m going to share some photos of the last three (super cute) parties.

Make sure you follow me on social media so you can stay up to date on all the happenin’s!

Thanks Megan! That’s actually my little brother and sister LOL, but I have a 7 month old little boy. Have you picked a theme for your party yet? Sounds like they are autumn babies.

You definitely have some great, creative and more than cute party ideas. I will be starting to plan my daughter’s 1st birthday party soon. She’ll be 8 months on Monday, and I want her 1st birthday to be the first of many smashing parties to come. She’s my parent’s only grandchild, so I’m sure my mom and I will go “all out” and have loads of fun doing so! Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas, you’ve given me a lot to think about!
