Welcome the very first Domestic Heart blog home tour!  I am so excited to be sharing some fun holiday decor today, and also to be joining so many other talented bloggers for this tour of Christmas trees, lights, cozy spaces, and let’s hope lots of sparkle!  (Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page to see the bloggers’ links!)

A little disclaimer before we get started.  :)  When I was invited to participate in this blog hop, I didn’t realize I would be out of town when it came around.  If you follow me on Facebook or read the blog regularly, you might know that I am spending the pre-holiday with my parents in Texas.

I wasn’t too worried about it though, because my mom is an amazing decorator and I knew her home would be gorgeous!  So I am extra excited to be sharing all my mom’s hard work with you today!  The only thing I can take credit for is the porch – and the photography :)  Enjoy!Holiday home tour at TheDomesticHeart.com, part of the #Homefortheholidaysbloghop

I would describe the theme as “Rustic Glam,” in red, turquoise, and silver.  Isn’t it gorgeous?!  So fresh, yet rustic at the same time.  This is the breakfast room and hutch, complete with the Christmas dishes.  I love her little snow scenes!

Here is the Christmas village, an annual tradition with our family.  I can’t remember a Christmas without one!Holiday home tour at TheDomesticHeart.com, part of the #HomefortheholidaysbloghopThe fireplace and family room is gorgeous and filled with color, warmth, and sparkle.  She did the chalkboard art by hand.  A plush rug in front of the fire is cozy and inviting, and is the perfect vantage point to take it all in.

I created the simple coffee table centerpiece from a pedestal, evergreen branches, pine cones, and wick less candles, all things we had on hand.  So easy and so festive!

The camper pillow is from Pottery Barn and I got it for her last Christmas.  I love it though, so I think I might try to sneak it home in my suitcase. :)  j/k
